SHU PUERH 2012[IRONMAN]360G
Yunnan
A perfect example of how an iron-compressed cake benefits Shu Pu-erh. Over years of aging, the dense compression allows the tea to mature slowly and evenly. The result is an exceptionally smooth, deep, and refined profile with none of the harsh earthy notes often associated with lower-quality Shu. Expect a rich, velvety body with warm cognac notes, aged wood, dark dried fruits, and a long, naturally sweet finish. Ironman thrives when brewed strong. Don't be afraid to use a generous amount of leaf—this Shu handles heavy leaf-to-water ratios beautifully, staying balanced without developing unpleasant bitterness, even during rich, intense infusions. This is the kind of tea that reveals its true character through confident brewing, not cautious brewing. Our recommendation: 7–9 g per 100 ml of water. If you enjoy a bold, full-bodied Shu, don't hesitate to brew it even stronger. Ironman can handle it.
