Aged Lao Sheng Pu-erh from 1990, sourced from a major Hong Kong storage facility. This tea follows the style of the famous antique CNNP recipes from the 1960s, produced by the same factory. Stored under proper conditions, it has retained excellent structure and character. The profile is deep and complex, with notes of dried fruit, mint and subtle medicinal nuances. It holds infusions remarkably well — easily more than a litre of tea without a noticeable loss of flavour. The compression remains dense and intact. Due to its age, the original rice paper wrapper may have some damage. This is a natural part of the history of a 30+ year-old tea.
